Buyer questions

Questions buyers actually ask

How does the free trial work?

Install and dictate without signing up or adding a card. The first dictation starts a one-month Pro trial with every feature unlocked and 20,000 managed-cloud words included.

View source

What is the archive, exactly?

Every transcription is saved locally as a private, searchable record in an open format that can be exported and stays on the Mac whether or not the subscription continues.

View source

What does Pro's bring-your-own-keys mean?

Pro can run inference through the customer's provider keys or through fully local offline models, so words do not touch Acousmos servers.

View source

Is my voice private?

The archive stays on the Mac, the site says nothing spoken is collected, and the voice is not used for training. Trial and Plus audio is transcribed through the managed cloud; Pro can use customer keys or local models.

View source

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Access lasts through the end of the paid period, and the local archive stays on the Mac forever, whether or not the license remains.
