How we report

A short account of what SiteList measures, where our stories come from, and how we check them before publication.

What SiteList measures

SiteList uses a crawler-based review across 13 dimensions, then publishes a SiteList Score from 0 to 100. A crawl is an observation of a product as it appeared at a point in time, not a hands-on test by a SiteList reviewer. It can describe public pages, pricing, performance, accessibility signals, and other evidence the crawler can reach; it cannot establish every part of a product experience.

Where stories come from

Stories start with vendor announcements, developer and press coverage, or search-interest data. We identify the original source where possible and distinguish a vendor's report from what SiteList observed in its own index. Trend references are credited as Data source: Google Trends.

How AI is used

AI helps draft stories and create editorial illustrations. Every number is traced to a cited source or SiteList data. A SiteList editor reviews each story for accuracy, evidence, and reader value before it is published.

Corrections

If you spot a factual error, please contact SiteList with the article URL and the supporting detail. We review correction requests and update published stories when the evidence warrants it.
